Gresilda A. Tilley-Lubbs is Associate Professor English as a Second Language (ESL) and Multicultural Education in the Teaching and Learning Faculty of the School of Education at Virginia Tech. Her qualitative research uses autoethnography and ethnography to focus on conducting research in immigrant communities, interpreted through a critical pedagogy lens. She presents her research in alternative literary genres such as poetry and ethnodrama. Her work has been widely published in international journals, including Qualitative Inquiry, International Review of Qualitative Research, and Creative Approaches to Research. Her scholarship has been published in English and Spanish.
